Rooted in Pune and founded in 2025 by Sommya Sethiya, Sthir Spaces was born from a quiet rebellion against cluttered design and chaotic living. We believe that calm is not a luxury, it’s a choice. And your home should reflect it.
Sthir reimagines residential interiors with a minimal, modern, and mindful approach, blending clean lines with warm functionality. No excess. No overwhelm. Just spaces that breathe, flow, and truly belong to the people living in them. We don’t just design homes, we create room for pause, presence, and peace.
Vision
It all started with a simple question: What makes a house feel like home? Was it the perfectly chosen color palette? The well-thought-out furniture placement? Or was it something deeper—the sense of stability and connection a space provides?
In a world where homes were becoming more about trends and less about purpose, a vision was born—Sthir. The name itself, rooted in the Sanskrit word for “stable,” carried a promise: to bring balance, beauty, and calm into the heart of every space.
Principal Designer
Sommya Sethiya is a certified interior designer with a Post Graduate Diploma from a NIESBUD-certified institute under the Ministry of Skill Development, backed by a degree in civil engineering. With 4 years of hands-on experience — including work with design start-ups like Livspace — she blends technical precision with an eye for minimal, meaningful design.
